Our Story

Hello, fellow travelers!
 

In 2019, my rescue pup Louie and I embarked on a journey to explore the world, and we're thrilled to have you join us. We hope our experiences inspire and assist you in your own adventures!
 

Growing up in a small, one-stoplight town in North Carolina, I always dreamed of adventure and travel. As a teenager, trips to New York and Florida fueled my wanderlust even more.

After heading off to college (Go Pirates!) and trying out a few regular jobs, I realized the conventional life wasn't for me.
 

Seeking something more, I moved to South Florida in 2011, hoping it would quench my thirst for adventure. While it did for a while, trips to Mexico and the Bahamas reignited my travel bug.

By 2018, I couldn't shake the desire to explore. I transitioned to a remote work style, planning my escape and researching the best places to live as an expat. Panama kept appearing at the top of every list, so I decided that's where our adventure would begin.

In February 2019, Louie and I took a direct flight from Miami to Panama City, Panama, and our journey officially began.
